Portrait sessions $125.  up to 3 children.  each additional child is an extra $50

Have them watermarked with the school year for an additional fee.

The Next Step

So.Blessed.

OpenOurEyes Photography has really started to take off and it has been such a  blessing to bless others with monies for their adoption and missions.   When this ministry first started, I had no idea how God was going to use it or how it was going to get to the next stage.  So far HE has definitely blessed this ministry.  And now we are ready for the next step.  And what does that entail? UGH, ha….a lot.  My husband and I have been in some prayer about what to do….501c3 and go all out Non-Profit, or turn this into a business.  After doing this for a few months now, God has made it super clear.  Although I have been fighting it a bit.  If you are a close friend to us/in one of our Life Groups you have probably listened to my ginormous struggle…not wanting to actually charge beyond the donation….and the way that our resources/budget is suffering due to the extra gas/materials/time. Giving ALL the donations was amazing and has been more fun than ever, but in doing this we were really not being good stewards of our own finances/resources, hence not properly caring for our own family.  So we have been praying more, discussing, seeking His will for our next step…

So what is our next step?

We have decided to make this a full blown business!  By the beginning of Fall my goal is to have a Tax-ID#, checking account, and some better marketing.  **if you are a web designer or just a creative designer that would like to offer some services to help us out we would SO appreciate it.  I know nothing about design, but would love to have a professional logo/watermark….one that is a bit more creative than what I have now   And would like to have an actual website (not blog) up and going within a year.  If you would like to help, please contact me!

What does this mean for the ministry?

A big portion of all monies earned will still be going to families adopting, going on missions, fostering….but I will also be taking out tithe, proper tax (not taxing my customers, just myself so your rate is flat what you see in the pricing sheet) and some for my time and tallents.  So pretty much nothing on your end except prices are changing.  BUT if you follow the Facebook page I will still be doing giveaways, etc.  AND I am still giving out the full CD of your pictures, which not many…if any Professional Photographer do without charging a ridiculous amount.

Please take a look around and see all the changes that have been made.  Most of which are in the Pricing tab.  New options and new pricing.

Also, if you are a family adopting and would like to schedule a “Photo Fund Raiser Day” please let me know as I really hope to be able to do some of these.  Pretty much you will pick a Saturday, a location, a start and end time.  Then send invites to everyone you know!  All proceeds with the exception of materials and gas will go directly to your adoption fund!  This really excited me!!!

I am very excited about making this next step and I hope you are too!  Please continue to be praying with us about this ministry, where it is going and that we would continue to obey and follow God’s plan.

Thank you to each of you who have already become part of this ministry by prayer, donations, word of mouth, and especially all the encouraging words.  I definitely have needed and will continue to enjoy those words of encouragement!

Love you all and your ginormous hearts and your desire to answer the call to give and help.

Special Request!

There is a teenage girl in our church going on her first Mission Trip in July and OpenOurEyes Photography is helping her do some fundraising!

The next few donations received will be going directly to her trip.

UPDATE – She has now raised all funds needed!  OpenOurEyes Photography was able to give $300!
